Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #127 ~ Classic Blue Picture inspiration

Hello everyone

It's time for a new Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

This fortnight we give you a Picture for inspiration.
Use the Picture below as your prompt and let that
Pantone Classic Blue of 2020 inspire you.

Here's my Design Team creation and how it came to be.

Working with an unfinished journal page displaying a stamped
Dinky Female Face BLUE is one colour I could never be without
in my colour palette, I find it extremely calming.

Layers of blue lace add direction and simulate the flow of her hair.

Adding fibre paste through the Iso Fun Stencil. As Sapphire is
Septembers birthstone I picked out the ring in the prompt adding blue
glass beads and a dusting of Gold mica liberally amongst the blue.

A difficult shape to photograph I found it interesting that the Blue appears
much darker and her skin paler through the lens than they actually are...

so here's a close up of her beauty unleashed from the shadows
along side those brave words, completing my mixed media page.

There's a prize of up to £20 to spend in the Paperbabe Stamps Shop,
I do hope you can pop along HERE and join in with this months

Take care & Stay safe

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

She is beautiful! The hair flow especially gives movement to the entire piece. It’s a lovely mix of beads, lace and mica. Stunning!

Sorry for not being around last few posts, our weather is too nice to be indoors and outside activities took over. Most beautiful designed project as always, love seeing what you make. ♥

Wow, Tracey, this is gorgeous. I love how you shaded her eyelids. It's that level of detail that turns your work from fun to fabulous. This is amazing, and her hair is out of this world. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey, dear.

Hi Tracey, I seem to have been distracted a bit recently so making up for it today. How perfect for that unfinished page and I so love that shade of blue. I have several Chinese dishes with those gorgeous blues. But then of course the lovely texture too, perfection. Happy creative weekend my friend. Hugs, Angela xXx

Hi Tracey I am playing catch up in blogging. This surgery is very different from my last and the healing is much slower. Soooo. I simply love this girl. Her hair is magnificent. The colors very dramatic. As for pantone and blu well NOT my favorite color at all. LOL. Have a very nice evening.

Congratulations on joining the design team with this beautiful rendition of the topic. I always love your faces and this one just grew before my very eyes as I read your post. What a lovely textural addition the lace made and then to see how you developed it was such an enjoyable journey. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful creation.
Hugs, Neet xx
