What's on your workdesk this Wednesday? 569

Hello everyone,

It's desk sharing Wednesday over at the stamping ground

Treated myself to this bargain Studiolight bundle
on Easter Sunday, it arrived Saturday but there'll be NO
play time until I've finished painting my landing walls.

So took a photo of it all to remind me of my reward to come..

Today's desk there sits a hidden DT piece which I need to photograph
for Friday's next blog challenge so no sharing till then, so sorry ..

We've had some much needed rain in my part of the UK a delight
to all gardens but Freya's not a fan of those wet day walks 😁

Here's to bright and sunny days again..!!

Take care of yourselves & each other
i'll be round to visit asap...

Freya does indeed look cheesed off Tracey. Great bundle of goodies. I was seriously tempted myself at the time, but I haven't actually used any of the previous ODS designed by Lou that I bought yet. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

Your doggy's Mohawk made me laugh out loud!! She really doesn't look impressed, bless her. I think keeping your new stash until you've finished the painting is a great idea, keeps you focussed. I work pretty much the same way, lol!

Love the look of all your new stash....have fun. Our little Milly isn't a fan of the rain either so we're hoping the sunshine returns soon.
Keep smiling, we can do this lockdown thing.

Hi Tracey. Thanks for your visit - and being so polite and not mentioning that my post this morning is in a muddle. I'm afraid word press wasn't playing properly today - even when I went back and tried to edit the thing!!
I have to say the expression on Freya's face is absolutely wonderful - a real picture of disgust that you DARE to take her out in the rain! Brilliant. Another person with a seahorse showing on their desk - is this all a longing for the beaches, do you reckon? Love all that yummy stash - enjoy it - when the landing is finished. A good use of all that spare paint. I had obviously had mine for FAR too long! I daren't even think of tackling my hall stairs and landing - I don't think I would be safe on a ladder up there at that height!! Getting a bit too long in the tooth for tricks like that.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

That's the face my OH pulls when can't get in the garden as well! But boy, we needed that rain. What a gorgeous stash pile you have there to enjoy - hopefully will make the decorating less painful (well I hate decorating not sure about you!) Happy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, Cindy #18

What a great pic of Freya, she certainly sums up that ‘fed up’ feeling! Wet here too, but I’m it being quite as efficient as you....I’m doing insurance renewals and month end for the biz. Yawn. So what colour is the landing now then? a ant think of a better motivation than that lovely bundle! When you get to immerse yourself, enjoy, you’ll certainly deserve it!

Oh wow I'm having stamp envy! That collection is brilliant, I love their stamps but don't see them very often, where did you get them? Freya looks so funny but it's obvious she is not amused. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, much appreciated. It did come as a bit of a shock as he seemed okay when we saw him last week but the leg problem was worse than we thought and was part of a heart problem, still chatting to you lot helps. Take care and have a very happy woyww, Angela x15x

Hope you finish the painting soon.

Ooh those stamps - they are fabulous - I homed in on the seahorse one instantly. You are going to have a wonderful time when the decorating is done. I had to laugh at Freya's hair-do - it looks a bit like mine since I had a go at cutting it myself!
Hope you have a good week, stay safe and well,

Hi Tracey! What a great haul on the stamps. Your desk looks so organized. LOL I would be embarrasses to show my work space. Glad you got some rain. It rains here so much that my little garden is all covered up. This part of Oregon use to be a rain forest, until all the trees were cut down over the decades to now. Can't wait to see what you will create with you new goodies. Enjoy your day.

Just stopped by to say HI since I haven't been to visit for far too long. I keep hoping my internet is now stable, but who knows.

You treated yourself to some serious stamps, Tracey. I'm sure they will come in handy in the coming months.

Hope you are well and safe. Please keep well, dear.

Oh wow, someone is going to have a lot of fun and be very busy too with that bumper bundle of goodies! The seahorse set looks really interesting. I hope you get the painting done soon so that you can have some crafty fun.

I love Freya's 'top knot', it looks so adorable.

It has been good to have a wee bit of rain, we certainly needed it, I just hope it is not set in for weeks now though. Take care and keep well. Hugs, Anne xx

Those stamps are fabulous, Tracey. Wherever did you find them? I googled them but could only find them available separately and they were quite expensive. I particularly love the seahorse one. I'm such a sucker for anything sea-themed! You are extremely self-disciplined, making yourself finish the decorating before you play with your new stamps! It's not a brand I'd heard of before. I love the hexagon-shaped storage on your desk - that's most attractive and practical! Freya really doesn't look impressed, does she! I adore her hair-do.

Thank you for visiting, and for your kind words. Both of the people who died were extremely old. My aunt was living in a dementia home for many years at the other end of the country and I hadn't seen her for several years and she probably wouldn't have known me. I felt I'd lost her some time ago really. The other one was the mother of our sister in law and I never really knew her at all. I wanted to make the cards for my cousins and our sis-in-law, the ones most directly involved. It will be hard for them arranging funerals at a time like this.

I am very pleased with the new paint. It can go on really thick and white, or you can blend it in if you want, just to give gentle highlights as I've done. It's very versatile and a pleasure to use.

You are right, it has been a busy week, and like you, I like to take proper time to read peole's blogs (and other people's comments too!) and reply properly. It does all take time, but I think it's well worth it, and I'm making a special effort at the moment to try and visit absolutely everybody because we all need as much contact as possible during the lockdown. I know I am always cheered when I see other people's photos, not just of their desks and projects, but their gardens, their walks, and their beloved pets too! I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing all my photos. We are both so thrilled with our garden and my hubby's hard work is really showing benefit now. He's been glad to have the time to do it recently and we've been blessed with gorgeous weather until a couple of days ago. I can't believe how much the kitties have grown either - when they are both on my legs on the recliner they weigh over a stone together - it's quite a weight! I also can't believe they will be 3 next month.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Tracey, before I forget the crackled background is actually the masking tape technique on he card on my blog.
Cor Tracey, that is one heck of a good shop. I have just the one set of Studiolight stamps - Miranda's cats which I bought in Holland - but I do like the designs you have on your desk. I wonder which you will use first?
Love the photo of Freya - look at that little top knot she has. So stonking cute!
Off now ('cos I am so late it is Friday) to look at your DT piece.
Stay safe and stay well, all of you
Hugs, Neet 8 xx

Wow, what a fabulous bundle of stamps! You are so lucky to have all of them to play around with 😀. Freya made me smile, she looks just like a punk rocker with her hair and not very amused ...lol! Now I'm substituting Freya's name for Sheena's and singing "Freya is a punk rocker ...." (song by the Ramones) ...lol. Thanks for the smiles today, hopefully like us you had sunshine today and Freya enjoyed her walk 😊. Happy and creative wishes! Keep well! Hugs, Jo x

Wow - that's a lovely pile of new goodies - hope you have lots of fun playing when you finally have some time. Poor Freya looks very disgruntled at the rain... hope she's enjoying the same sunshine we've got now - not warm, but blue skies for the most part.
