Good Friday wishes..

Happy Friday everyone,

Crafty friends will know some things we just can't wait to
get our creative hands on. When I first saw this AALL & Create
stamp set Daisy Elegance designed by Tracy Evans i'd already
thought of many ways to create with it before i'd even
pressed that add to basket button.

Balanced with some geometric Mandala stencil work
I had many happy hours creating this page.

Raised up vases given a brush of liquid wax

and making very good use of those off cuts..

i'm not sure what the text says but *93
was a good year for me & my Hubby..

It seemed such a shame to close the page on this journal and
so wrong to crush those blooms so with extra time on my hands
I decided to alter a frame including those calming Mandala's.

No longer hidden away it now makes a lovely addition to my
home decor for everyone to see...

Wishing you all well this Easter,
Take care & stay creative..

Tracey xx

Happy to share today's creativity with:

This is another WOW! creation from you Tracey, love it. The background is gorgeous and I love how you placed the bottles and flowers over the script background, just beautiful. And it deserves to be in a frame and not stuck away in a journal! Have a great day, and thanks so much for linking to AJJ, much appreciated. Take care, and happy Easter! Hugs, Valerie

Beautiful! So glad you framed it - it deserves to be on the wall for sure! I love the images on this. I definitely know how an image or item can make you see things you will make before you get it - fun to see how this image called to you.

I am so glad you found the time to make this fabulous piece of art into a piece of home decor. It would have been such a shame to hide it in a journal. Wonderful stamping, layering of the vase and pretty colouring. The mandalas have added to the overall composition and What a stunning creation Tracey x. Happy Easter x.

This is simply out of this world. You have a way with mixed media. I am SO impressed with the vintage, old world charm I think this page has. It definitely deserves a place in your home and I LOVE that you are recycling, too. Thank you beyond belief for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Valerie's theme. You create the most incredibe art. Happy Good Friday and Happy Easter.

I didn't expect to come back so quickly to see this beautiful project, but I am glad! You really have done Tracy's stamp a huge amount of justice, your page looks wonderful framed. I love the colour of the flowers against the softer toned background and the vases look beautiful with their wax layer.

I cannot remember much of my schoolgirl German but I think the wording relates to the German Postal Service from the days when people used to send each others postcards, possibly during the war (just a guess).

Thank you for brightening my day Tracey! Have a lovely Easter weekend. Hugs, Anne xxx

Simply gorgeous, Tracey - I love what you've done with those glass vials to give them such dimension and a lovely gleam to the surface. It looks fabulous in the shabby wooden frame. I'll be back for some proper catching up soon. Stay safe, stay well, and happy Easter.

This is so beautiful Tracey and it's great that you had ideas for the stamp set even before you bought it. I am such an impulse buyer and often buy staps just because I like them and then find that I don't really know what to do with them lol. I love how you've framed your page too, it definitely deserves to be in full view! Have a very happy Easter and take care, Sue xx
