WOYwW ? 548

Hello everyone,

How's that Christmas prep going??
It's only 3 weeks you know 😛

A very quick post from me today where I share
What's on my work desk this Wednesday #548

Can't show the cards or things i've been making but..

thanks to Zsuzsa last week reminding me Kasia's Advent
was starting on the 1st, I managed to throw a few things
in a box and find a journal i'd made with loose pages.

This advent challenge will give me a break during the run up
to Christmas with the lid of the box a portable work surface.
I'll probably post my progress over the weekend..

Like an Elf I've lots to do for others this week
so i'll catch up with you all later.

Creative Hugs to all
Tracey xx

Only 3 weeks can't believe I was making Christmas cards in 40C in August and now have sold most of them.Agree when you do things for other people over the CHristmas period your Christmas plans are put on hold. Ani#4

A house elf is always notoriously overworked! Have fun with the new challenge. Look after yourself and don't do too much, hugs, Valerie

There's lots of lovely things to see on your desk this week but my favourite? That rather gorgeous map covered box!! I do adore maps of all sorts and that's a great idea - did you cover ti yourself or was it shop bought? I might have to copy that, lol!

HI Tracey, I am so behind this year! Still have gift shopping to do- fortunately me & Hubby have put a 5 gift limit in place this year. Got to the point we really have no idea what to buy each other! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #15 X

I checked into that challenge, but decided not to join, since I have my own charities I give to each year. However, I really look forward to seeing what you create for each prompt.

So glad you're doing this Tracey - loving those painty papers! It's really just supposed to take a few minutes each day, so hopefully you can fit it in your busy schedule. I still have today's page to work on, but it's not carved in stone - last year I did 3-4 pages in one go when I fell behind, it really doesn't matter. Hope you're enjoying it! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #18

Hi there sweet lady, however you had better wash your mouth out...... 3 weeks to Christmas!!!!! that can't be true Lol! Where are the weeks going, somebody must have magically taken some away while I wasn't watching. I saw the Kasia's Advent and had every intention of joining in but what with Christmas cards and my mum not being very well I've just not managed it but you never know. Have a very happy woyww, Angela x12x

I think I am just about done with Christmas cards for this year and now am starting on those for next year. Well, in my head I am - will let you know if it happens. The worse part is to come though - writing them and doing the envelopes (I cannot fathom how to do labels on the computer since I went over to a Mac).
I am now going to check about this advent box, even though I am already behind with it - thanks.
Hope all is well at your house.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Your journal box looks like fun! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it! Thank you for your visit to mine! My hibiscus may have flowered 3 times, but only one flower each time, ha ha! And it is such a lovely contrast, the flower against the snow, don't you think? Have a wonderful week, Lindart #26

I signed up for Kasia's Advent calendar but of course haven't done a thing. I might try and get a box together over the weekend and do some catching up. Yours is looking good Tracey. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #2

Doesn't it feel like once we reach December, the panic starts to set in? I have cards, made some cards, and just ran out to buy stamps. This should make me feel better right? ...Nope. I sat down last night and wrote out exactly one card! ha ha... what to do eh? I am thinking today I will try again. The snow is still looking pretty but the sun is out and melting some today which means slip and slide tomorrow if I don't put some salt out. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Oh that is a smart idea Tracey, me I dug out a december daily album I bought years ago and mostly have been taking photos each day so far for the mindless thing. Love the colors of the pages that are peeking out :) ~Stacy #27

Those loose pages look lovely and I love the outside of the box! Christmas prep - what Christmas prep - lol. I did manage to make a few cards last week to send to Canada and a few more today to go to America tomorrow but apart from that.... absolutely nothing! I definitely need to get a wiggle on... Hope your week goes well for you. Hugs, Anne xx
