WOYWW #547

Hello everyone,

There's been very little activity on the craft front...
the virus affecting everyone around me finally
got hold of me, it was only a matter of time.

The horrible part has stopped (you don't need the finer details)
just need to work through the aches, annoying cough and soothe
a throat that feels like it's been feasting on a diet of sand paper.

There's people much more poorly than me so lets move on so I can
Thank you for last weeks helpful comments on the houses 😊

... you did get me thinking about colour

and during a sleepless night thanks to the cough this happened...

4 weeks and counting to Christmas i'm not sure i'll ever move on
from this stamp set but the Christmas card stash is mounting up!!

Look forward to seeing WOYWW #547

*Thanksgiving Blessings to those celebrating on Thursday*

Creative Hugs

Sorry you aren't well hope all is better soon. Now the rusty red and the blue I do like. Keep up the good work nothing wrong with all the same cards they don't go to the same people. Ani #1

Ugh! The lurgy! Sorry you have had such a bad dose of it, thankfully all I got was a sniffle or two but the other half is still suffering with the lingering cough. Saying that it sounds as if you have been much worse than he was. Poor Tracey. Hope you kept it from the hubster!
On a brighter note your houses are lovely and it must feel good to do them in different colours. Not sure which I like the best - they are all lovely.
Hugs, Take care

Hi Tracey. Oh bless you - not nice at all. A sand paper diet really isn't a nice one! Those Christmas cards are great - well done on the mounting stack. They look good in those colourways.
Yes - I am actually enjoying all the bits we are making. One day together wasn't enough, though - got to do it again next Monday!!
Take care. God bless.

Lovely idea to add a bit of colour too - a very different look and such a versatile stamp set! So sorry about your cold - I usually manage to avoid these things but only if no one else brings it home! Vitamins are the answer! I'll go take one! Hope you get over your pesky cold soon and you'll be as good as new by the weekend! zsuzsa #20

Sorry to be so late to comment! I was so busy yesterday and today is Thanksgiving so I'm running through early to get some commenting done. I love your little houses and think your colors are devine! You could use that stamp well after Christmas; it is a good one to have around. Hoping you are feeling much better this morning!

I hope you feel a lot better soon! Well done for getting on with these when you couldn't sleep! I often find myself in my craft room on the nights I can't sleep - when I go back to bed I usually fall asleep straight away!! Hugs, Chrisx

I’m late again, sorry. So hope this find you feeling better, there’s a nationwide bug going about I think...my Mum’s care home has asked people not to visit for at minimum of three days to see if they can clear it. So sorry, it does leave you feeling wasted doesn’t it. The houses look marvellous! I dont mind if you dont move on..but if you overdo it with that stamp you might not be quick to come back to it. Well, thats what happens to me, I get image exhaustion and then overlook it!

Sorry to hear you've been down with it too... sounds pretty much exactly like the one I've been dealing with.
Hopefully I'm clearing the last of the phlegm now - hope you'll get to the end of it soon.

I love your colour variations on the houses - in the Czech Republic they paint their houses all sorts of colours, so why not?!

Lovely artwork. I'm sorry you caught a cold. Over here in the northeast US, colds have been going around too. I caught the one that came out a few weeks ago. Currently, so far, so good. Thanks for your positive thoughts during the upcoming storm tomorrow (Sunday) into Tuesday 7am local time. I used to be surprised that the UK doesn't get snow, but one day I finally realized you're like our west coast states of Washington and Oregon: you get rain during the Winter, while us on the "east" side get snow. I liked snow when I was a kid, but now that I have to drive in it, I could do without it.
