What's on your Workdesk Wednesday 515

Hello everyone ...

It's Wednesday & time to share what's on our workdesks.

No creative desk from me today as i've been painting a larger canvas
using up half pots of paint and catching up with jobs well overdue.

Thank you
for your supportive words last week regarding our beloved
Dog your all so kind. The house feels very empty without her 😒

Counting down the days till I can eat these again, help yourself
but save me one please, I could do with the energy boost.

I'll catch up with you over at the stamping ground for
WoywW 515 when i've finished those jobs of the day
and washed the paint from my brushes and hair.

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter.
I've heard the weather in the UK is warming up..
hope it doesn't melt my eggs 😁

Take good care of yourselves & each other.

Hugs Tracey xx

I hope you show us the finished canvas - it sounds good fun and you're not alone in being the Messiest Painter in the World! I am incapable of putting colour on anything without more landing on me than the surface....*grin*. I wish you joy with the Creme eggs...not my thing I'm afraid, too sweet!

Hope the weekend is warm enough to melt the eggs - but not yours! Would be lovely to have some sunshine without that cold wind.
Oh dear, sounds like you have been doing a touch of diy - or have I read it wrongly? Think I might just seek out some left over white emulsion to use instead of Gesso on my next batch of tea bags
Thinking of you

Do I see Cadbury's cream eggs? Yummy! We get loads of wonderful chocolate things here, but not those eggs, such a pity! Have a wonderful week, hugs, Valerie

Hi Tracey - yes, soon be Easter day - the day of resurrection - a day to celebrate - enjoy the crème eggs!! I reckon your home will; be looking proper posh by the time you have finished with all those different paints... want to do mine?>
Take care. God bless.

Good luck with your painting. I cringe when I think of a painting project at my house! I hate it! Happy WoYWW! Glenda #22

I am sure the house must feel really empty without your lovely dog, Tracey. One of the things I found the most difficult after our 2 old kitties died was the empty place where their feeding bowls used to be... Little things can set you off, can't they. Thinking of you.

Easter eggs... I am hoping NOT to be given any this year as I am determined to stick to my diet and not undo all the good I've done! We were given an enormous box of chocolates and a massive Toblerone yesterday - most kind but my heart sank! As Oscar Wilde said, "I can resist everything except temptation"! I prefer to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus in a less "physical" way!!!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Tracey, I missed last weeks WOYWW and am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I do feel for you, it's so terribly sad losing a beloved pet.
I hope you are enjoying your painting challenge and getting at least the majority of it on the canvas and not yourself!
Happy Easter and enjoy your eggs,

Oh no, I haven't stopped by in awhile, so I didn't know about your dog. I'm so sorry. They are like a part of the family, and it's so hard and sad when they pass. I hope you're able to have a nice Easter, despite your loss.

Hi Tracey, Hope you are enjoying your painting.

I hope when the time is right you'll get another dog, as so many need a loving home. What better way to honor your beautiful Boni.

Thanks for sharing your Creme Eggs. I find them too sweet, so I've left you mine. Hope you have a lovely Easter.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind comments.

Happy WOYWW

I hope paint in your hair is a sign of a good day Tracey, and I hope the canvas and other works are keeping your mind occupied. You have remarkable self discipline my friend, that basket of cream eggs wouldn’t last here, certainly I’m so impressed that I’m going to leave my share for you to enjoy...and hey, you can have it early if you like. My share is the yellow yolky centre! Saweet!

Oooh, paint in your hair? Now that is serious painting, I am already looking forward to seeing what you are creating. No eggs for me this year but I really do hope you get to enjoy yours and I hope you and your family have a lovely Easter weekend, with the beautiful weather we are being promised. Hugs, Anne xxx

I am SO sorry to read about your dog, Tracey. I don't envy you that task.

I did want you to know, for reasons I won't go into, I have been locked out of blogger. This is a devastating problem for me, especially since I am in the middle of my recycle campaign. However, I have set up a HOPEFULLY temporary blog to get me through until I can reclaim mine. Please tell everyone you know, and please visit me starting tomorrow (April 20) at:

https://alteredbooksandmixedmedia.blogspot.com/

Even if you don't normally visit me daily, I could use the support right now. Thank you and Happy Easter.

Very sad to hear about your dog, though I'm late catching up with the news - heartfelt virtual hugs coming your way - the hole it leaves when a much loved pet dies is unbearably big.

Looks like you've earned at least one of those eggs with all your chores.
