WOYWW #482

Happy WOYWW everyone

I was away last week so missed out on my woyww fix..
It's surprising how addictive it has become each week catching up with everyone
and their Wednesday workspace courtesy of our host Julia at the Stamping Ground.

No creative work area shot for me and there may not be any for a week or two
as I'm currently boxing everything and I mean EVERYTHING
away in my kitchen as it's due a long awaited face lift next week.

This is a tiny selection of boxes I need to find a temporary home for,
there seems to be more craft equipment than kitchen...!

I have to say i'm not looking forward to the next couple of weeks and will be glad
when it's all completed and I can start to get back to normal if that's at all possible.

One creative thing I can share is the contents of my scrawlr box this month.
Think I will be making good use of this one over the next week or so
as I may not be able to find much else hee hee!!

Looking forward to visiting you all
as soon as I can find my way out of the kitchen.

Creative Hugs

Tracey xx

I am just glad it is you and not me. It sounds like a daunting renovation and I hope it goes well. These things often take longer than anticipated, so I hope there are no surprises along the way.

Morning Tracey. All the very best for the new kitchen works! Hope it all goes well, and that you will soon be able to use your new units and space. Yes, it's chaos (mine was completely done four years ago with walls knocked down and everything moved around...!!!) but it is SO worth while in the end! If you need to escape - then why not pop up to the crop a week on Saturday??
Just think of all the fun using that fabulous box of supplies!!
Take care. God bless.

Please keep 'scrawlring' for us to see so that you feel obliged to visit WOYWW each week whilst the craft room is out of action or I for one will miss you.
It is a lot of upheaval when having a room done and as we are about to have our bedroom done I am dreading emptying the wardrobes and things - where will it all go? Hope to save my craft room from any additional stuff. So good luck with your renovations - it will all be worth it when you are back to normal.
Will be thinking of you but hoping to see you regardless.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

The contents of the Scrawlr box look interesting - what is it about new watercolour palettes that floats my boat? The possibilities of all those colours?! Love it. Please don't stay away too long because, like Neet, I enjoy reading about your crafty madness :-D

Oh good and Oh bad. It's a gruesome ordeal and I've said no to it for too long, but I dread remodels. Hope your's goes well and the displacement isn't so bad. Will love to see photos !

Ouch Tracey, I feel for you. I couldn't imagine even starting to box up my craft shed contents. The Scrawlr box looks interesting. At least you will be able to find some supplies while the work is being done. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #18

I love the idea of getting a subscription box of fun every month! I want to join the Stencil Girl subscription, but for the moment, it is too expensive. Some day! Your new box looks so enticing and delightful! Good luck with the kitchen, it is difficult living in chaos, but it will soon be over, and you will have a wonderful new kitchen! Have a great week, Lindart #30

Dear Tracey, hello again, my friend, I hope you enjoyed your time away, and have relaxed and gained new power for all there is to happen in your home now.... not easy to be without kitchen - I hope for you, and your husband, that you can find a tiny corner, to cook all the same :-) - what comes next, with a new kitchen, will be wonderful .
I don`t know the system of the Scrawlr box, but it sounds fun- and this box arrived just in time for you, to still have a little play, while much else is boxed up.
Chat soon dear Tracey- Big hugs from Dorthe , xx

Good luck with your makeover, Tracey! It sounds almost as much effort and disruption as moving house! I'm not sure I've heard of the scrawlr box before - I'm resisting the temptation to look it up as I'm sure I don't need it - not as much as I would want it any way, but it's interesting to see that they make the Inktense in pans now - I've only ever seen the sticks, but the pans seem like a good idea! Hope the next two weeks will go quickly for you so you can get back to normality asap! zsuzsa #24

I am SO jealous of your Scrawlrbox. I used to get those but cancelled them but I've had those paints on my wishlist for ages - I wonder if it's to late to get this months. (Is that the August box?)

I love the messages on your cardboard boxed "DO NOT HIDE!" I hope the kitchen facelift goes well and is pain free.

Have a lovely week :)

Oh Tracey, what a huge disruption, but hang in there - the results will be well worth it, I am sure! You will soon get straight again. Thank you for your visit and I'm sorry to be so long replying. It was a busy weekend at the conference and I've had to rest since, and had a friend over today as well. Thanks for all the lovely remarks about my bread etc.! This morning I made quite a lot of apple chutney from some of our crop but it will need about 6 weeks to mature till it's ready for use.

Happy very belated WOYWW!
