It's Friday again.. YAY..!! One small step away from the weekend.
It's also time for a brand new Challenge Theme over
on the That's Crafty Challenge Blog .
.. and a chance to win £20 in the That's Crafty Store.
This fortnights theme is *Anything BUT cards*
Please pop on over HERE and check out the DT's inspirational makes.
Here's my little *Anything BUT cards* creation, in words and pictures.
Using the Marina Stamp set I stamped onto clear shrink plastic with
Black StaZon and coloured in on the reverse side using alcohol markers.
I cut around the images leaving a border and punched holes where I wanted the jump rings to be attached. Now its time to bake them, I always use an oven for shrink plastic as it works much better for me than a heat tool but that's just my personal choice.
Follow the manufacturers instructions as they can vary from brand to brand.
Jump rings fasten the shrink plastic pieces together and a gathering
of Maya fibres help add interest along with twisted wire pearls.
All finally attached to a Key ring with lobster clasp.
My baked shrink plastic Key ring is complete.
A fun little make perfect to entertain the Children
over the Summer Holidays and a bit of
low calorie baking for the Adults.
Thank you for taking time to pop on over
I look forward to seeing your Crafty Creations over at the

Absolutely love this idea Tracey, Marina makes a fabulous keyring and I'm with you on the oven baking as I find the heat tool method too unpredictable!
Love, Fliss xxx
Oh how I love this Tracey, it's truly stunning!! Thank you for the magic you create with my designs. I've given up trying to make anything decent with shrink plastic so maybe I'll try the oven bake method then :)
Hugs
Donna xx
Oh its been a while since I used shrink plastic but now I need to play again. Super creative - as usual - and perfectly executed xxx
Thanks Fliss.. i'm never going back to the heat tool method, can't deal with chasing it around the room anymore Haa haa!! xx
Oh Donna Thank you so much & your so welcome. Without you Designing them i'd never be able to create with them. It's a win win combination ;) xx
Thank you Nikki, I have my moments with Shrink plastic.. something everyone should try, its quick and easy and can completely transform somethings. I look forward to seeing your play xx
It is wonderful Tracey, so lovely detailed painted, and the sweetest mermaid, ever, with her fish and star ,tail :-) . You are so clever with the plastic, and your ideas are beautiful. So gorgeous presented on the fishy tag. Hugs from Dorthe, xx
Definitely not just for kids, looks brilliant Tracey haven't played with shrink plastic for ages

Love your project FAB x
Thank you Dear Dorthe, she was a quick make this week being busy with other things but she seemed to fit nicely on the tag and it keeps her where I can find her xx
Thanks Amanda.. itt's too much fun for kids :)) We adults need our play days too xx
Thank you so much Alison, a fun little make and a happy face from me when it turns out better than expected xx

ahh shrink plastic, have not used it for yonks now I know I have some but where?? It's fun to play with and love this.xx [aNNie]
I think it's a Marmite medium Annie and not everyone's cup of tea. I had some larger sheets which I had mixed up with thick acetate, not a good thing to do haa haa!! Think I will pass it off as paint palettes as I have not the time to discover what is what. Glad you like xx
Love your shrink plastic creations, Tracey!!! They are so beautiful!!! You give me ideas! Kisses, my friend.
This is wonderful Tracey, I love to use shrink plastic too! Have a fun week, Sue xx
