Creative Artiste August #107 ~ Anything Mixed Media Goes

 Hello Creatives

First Friday of the month always brings a new Challenge

My August Journal page is created with lots of paper play,
using the rather lovely Stamperia SunFlower Art collection.

Fussy cuts and layering, paint pen and glossy accents
all shine a light on that extra detail.

Air clay sunflowers painted with acrylics, flicks of
dimension paste accentuate those golden wild riverside
grasses with dots of glitter glue making those relentless
no matter the weather wildflower poppy's shine through.

Edged with machine stitch topped with lace
this is very much where I like to be ...
My outdoor happy place painting or drawing
alongside my dog in Natures Magnificent Garden..

We hope you can join the Design Team HERE
@ Creative Artiste and play along with challenge #107
our Theme is always  Anything Mixed Media Goes..

Happy creative August everyone
Take care & stay Creative

Hugs Tracey xx

What a beautiful page! Loving those 3D sunflowers and how you added all the details to the Stamperia papers to create this stunning scene 😊. Creating art and having Freya by your side is the perfect way to spend your time and you captured your love of nature so perfectly. Thanks for the inspiration and thanks so much for joining us at Art Journal Journey too! Hugs, Jo x

WOW! I love this, Tracey. Of course I love the sunflowers (they are my state flower) and the poppies I have never been able to grow. But it is the small details I love, like the paint brushes in the girl's pocket, the girl's shirt, shoes, and hat, the tag and collar on the dog, and the basket with sunflowers on top. Your attention to those little details did not go unnoticed by me. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us at Art Journal Journey and Jo's great theme.

I love how you did all the paper layering here and those paper clay sunflowers. Wow, what a stunning piece it makes Tracy. I love the little lace across the top too. This is another beauty. And Happy August to you. I can't believe how fast summer always goes. It will be cooler and autumn all too soon. Thanks for joining Jo at AJJ and also TIOT. This is perfect for both challenges. Have a lovely rest of your weekend. hugs-Erika

Love all the techniques you've used here, Tracey! So many materials, details, layers, and textures, and the scenery you've created is a masterpiece like always. Makes me want to be there too, just enjoying the serenity before me, sigh... Wishing you a serene and peaceful August. Anita xo

Hi Tracey, this is just amazing and must have taken you ages to complete but worth every minuite you spent doing it. It looks like a gorgeous place and having lovely Freya by your side, if that was my two they would have disappeared by now and been chasing birds or digging holes Lol! Thank you for asking, I'm okay though things have felt a bit starnge since losing my mum, I keep thinking I should be going to see her and then realising she's not with us anymore. Take care and have a good creative week. Hugs Angela xxx
