Paperbabe SKETCH Challenge ~ #83

Hello Creative Friends,

Use it's shape to inspire you and the image to represent your design.
Mix it up, be creative, it's really up to you how you interpret it.

Time has been very limited for me this week so I set myself a
personal challenge to see what I could come up with in 1 hour.

Here's what I got up to and those simple *How to Do's*

Using the leaf and conkers from the Completely Conkers stamp set,
Distress Oxides were my choice of ink to stamp onto both Kraft and white card.

Onto an A6 card I stamped one of my favourite stamps from the
Spritz & Speckle set along with the completely Conkers sentiment.

5 leaves and 5 conkers were fussy cut and teased into shape ready to assemble.

Glued down using 3D Gel my CAS card is complete.

It's really that simple ..

Hope you can find a moment to pop on over HERE and join in with the challenge.
There's a prize for one lucky random winner.

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend.

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

OH WOW, Tracey. That card is the CONKERS! I love it. Simple, it is NOT. It's a true testament, though to what you can achieve in the event your time is quite limited. I love, love, love it.

Thank you Jannet, those solid leaves are so useful as you can achieve instant colour when using coloured ink pads. Perfect when short of colouring in time.
Have a smashing weekend xx

Such a beautiful CAS card...Love the colours, the layout, those leaves and conkers and the fun sentiment. Great too that you did it within the hour x

Thank you so much Mac such a complement coming from the CAS Queen. If I had not already planned in my head what I was to make I really would not have been able to put this together as you know how I find CAS cards so difficult to create xx

This is a fabulous CAS autumn card and I love the fun sentiment you added.
It would have taken me a lot longer than an hour to create , so good for you to get it made in the time you gave yourself.

Lovely autumn gatherings - those conkers are fabulous - and great that you managed to squeeze in the time for some creativity, even under pressure.

Lol... completely conkers!!!... what a brilliant sentiment!!!. I am afraid I would have been sat for the hour wondering where to start, so that is a great challenge that you set yourself, I think CAS is absolutely the hardest, and yet again you smashed it!!. Ps.. just Lovin the hilight on the conkers. Xxx

Jackie PN said...

okay Tracey, just what is a conker? It looks like a chestnut to me which would conk you on the head if it fell out of a tree! Otherwise,I have no idea! heehee
Great card-lots of fun Conker girl!

Conkers are from the Horse Chestnut Tree but not edible like sweet chestnuts. I believe you may call them Buckeyes..?? Wonder if you ever played conkers..?
