#WOYWW 486

Hello Creative Friends

Happy WOYWW 486 a place each Wednesday we share whats on
our work desk and visit other creative work spaces giving Thanks
to our host Julia over at her stamping ground.

First here's that Kitchen 95% finished...

Flooring down & those Kitchen essentials slowly being put back in place.
You may or may not be able to see my dog camouflaged against the floor
waiting for her breakfast and making the most of that floor space
before the kitchen table goes back in.

This was the Creative Corner on Sunday.

As I unpacked those needful things butterfingers had a mishap with an
ink storage unit and watched it fall in slow motion helpless to save it.
Now in pieces it's a jigsaw no one wants to put back together
so i'm waiting on a replacement to arrive.

Here's what I got up to with one of those leaves last week.
It's HERE if you want to take a closer look.

Those berries I picked up from my lawn, such a deep orange colour.
Maybe dropped from a butter beaked bird with eyes too big for it's belly.

Look forward to seeing WOYWW this week.
I'll be round to visit when my care duties are
complete and time is my own.

Take Care everyone
Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Your creative corner is looking great Tracey, so neat and organised. Hope the replacement ink storage arrives soon. I love your use of the leaves, especially how you preserved them using envelopes and heat embossing. Have a great week. Sarah #2

First of all, your nature piece is an absolute stunner!! Your kitchen is starting to look fantastic, it will be such a pleasure to cook in! As to your craft corner, sorry about the mishap, but aside from that, what an amazingly neat and well organised space, I am full of admiration!!

Kitchen's looking good, but do you think black floor might have been a mistake when you have black invisible dog! Craft corner's getting organised too, that leaf collage is fantastic, well done.

Well thank goodness it was only the ink storage and not the ink itself that had a mishap. I love the new kitchen, it's looking great and you must certainly feel it's been well worth all the disturbance to your life! I am loving your leaf piece - absolutely stunning and perfect for getting us into the mood for this glorious season.
Have a great week,

Hi Tracey, That is so annoying when you drop something. My worst was a storage box full of small pots of brads! They went everywhere, took ages to collect up and resort! Love the colour of the berries, so vibrant. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #10 X

Your creative corner looks awesome! Too bad about the ink storage. Your leaf card 9?) looks wonderful! Did you encase the leaf with something? I have some of those orange berries in my yard, I should snag them for decoration! Your kitchen looks beautiful, and if you hadn't mentioned the dog, I would have thought he was a rug on the floor! Happy fall, have a great week, Lindart #21

It looks marvellous Tracey, and all new and shiny, and then pan to the right and your creative corner looks sublime. It's like an advert for how to be creative and still have it looking good. I must comment on how tall you must be..reaching the implements over the cooker would definitely be a challenge for me! How lovely, so pleased for you that 95% is the completed number. Don't do what we would do and leave the other 5% for posterity will you! Lovely lovely Autumn collage, a perfect reminder of the Autumn you re-did the kitchen. Aren't those berries wonderful.

Your kitchen and art areas are coming together nicely. Too bad about the storage unit, but good you can order a new one. LOVING your new kitchen, but still want to know what that white thing on the wall in the corner is. It can't be a cabinet because it was there during the demo and has what looks like pipes coming out of it.

LOVE the latest autumn inspired plaque. It is gorgeous. Not playing at WOYWW this week, so no number.

Hi Tracey, I love your well organised crafting area. do you have to open the cupboard doors to sit at the work area?

I love your project.

I could just make out your dog:)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Happy WOYWW

Should think it is a boiler or water heater.

Tracey@Hotchpotchcreations said...

So sorry Elizabeth I thought I had answered your question but looking back it appears that non of my replies are showing and it looks like it has been going on for a few weeks hmm....
Yes it's a combi boiler for the water and radiators. Those pipes need boxing in but it's another job I just can not handle at the moment.. Maybe next year xx

Tracey@Hotchpotchcreations said...

Hee hee.. she's a ver faithful dog and follows us around everywhere we know she is not far away from us were ever we go x

Tracey@Hotchpotchcreations said...

I can just reach those kitchen tools and gently lift them off, I'll be ok as long as I don't shrink anymore.
Need to take a good photograph when i'm completely happy with the crafty area and frame it so it shames me into keeping it tidy.. hee hee.
I'll plod my way through the other 5% don't think my back can take anymore lifting and stretching xx

Tracey@Hotchpotchcreations said...

I tend to stand more than sit when crafting as i'm not in one space too long. If I need to sit I sit at the table but as you see that's not gone back in just yet. Fingers crossed this weekend :)

Tracey@Hotchpotchcreations said...

Thank you Astrid, it's not been an easy task.. Need to get back in there and create before the mojo dries up like those leaves... xx

HI Tracey, you must be so excited to be putting things away and having it all ready to use again. ( I can see your dog :) ) and I think that is super you are so close to the sink in your corner for all the messy things. that panel you have done looks really cool the layers of texture have so much depth ~Stacy #20

The kitchen looks awesome, wish mine looked like that! Oh my, the way you describe it, I can just SEE that ink-storage fall and splatter... Thanks for your visit earlier this week. I'm late 'doing the round' as it's always weekend already... enjoy! Marit #8

So sorry to hear of your mishap - something we can well do without.
Nearing completion and looking soooo good. Love the floor, hope you don't trip over your dog though, I could hardly see him.
Your creative corner looks really good as does your page from last week. Great to see it now with those leaves being used. Love those berries!
Hugs, a very late Neet 27 xx

So glad to see your kitchen is almost complete, and your creative corner looks brilliant! Sorry to hear you had a disaster with your ink storage unit, though. Thank you for your visit and all your kind remarks - and I smiled at what you said about the carrot haha!! Yes, it must be the season for hospital appointments - I had a letter today changing the time of my oncology appointment in November - to an earlier time which is a bore - will have to get up early on that day!!

Happy belated WOYWW,
