What's on your Wednesday Workdesk 589

Hello everyone
how are you all doing??

Even though my little part of England is back in lockdown
normal service resumes @ the Stamping Ground for me at last...

Hurahhhh!!!

I know my desk looks disorderly but there's quite a lot of
creativity going on in this corner just can't share it yet.

In between the busyness of August every spare hour was spent dismantling,
recycling and responsibly disposing of the contents of the old playhouse.
A mighty task and one at first we wished we'd never started..

but one month later it's been transformed into a restful place

a shady space to sit and embellish my latest fabric lavender pebbles.

Just need to sort the lawn out now so little Freya can enjoy it too..

Look forward to seeing WoyWW 589
over @ Julia's Stamping Ground

Take care & Stay Safe
Tracey xx

Wow, Tracey, that’s a transformation isn’t it, you must be so pleased....well we’ll worth the work. Although it does feel never ending doesn’t it. I know it was probably a hobby horse, but Pooh’s head on a stick is a bit alarming now! Really made me laugh! Your desk looks marvellous to me. I am in awe of your pile making-without-collapse ability!

Well that was a month well spent. What a transformation! That is a perfect haven for sitting and meditating whilst working on those beautiful lavender fabric pebbles. As you say, you just need to concentrate on somewhere for that adorable fur baby of yours, those eyes just melt you don't they!
Hugs, Neet 12 xx

Well done. Now go enjoy it before summer disappears into autumn. Sorry you are in lockdown again - hope you are able to stay safe.

Thanks for sharing all your lovely photos ! You've had a variety of projects to keep you busy. A beautiful space you've created. Such a cute dog, I miss having one. And the lavender, always fun to work with and have a little gifts. I cannot grow it here, so sometimes order online. Was a fun visit. Stay Safe and enjoy the outdoor space you've created.

Hi Tracey, wow what a transformation. That certainly is nice place to sit peacefully. I have been spending so much time in my garden, and so little time crafting - apart from the wedding invites. I suppose when it's cold and frosty I shall have plenty of time to craft! Freya will appreciate the lawn when it's done, I'm sure! Thanks for stopping by earlier - I've no idea if I will take to crocheting, but I've always fancied having a go! Having said that, I have jewellery making stuff, candle making stuff, calligraphy sets, etc, etc ..... as I 'fancied having a go' .... I'll definitely be well set up when I eventually retire lol. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #11

Hi Tracey, you just reminded me that I need to make some little bags to put the lavender in. I place it round my Teddy Bear collection as many of them are Mohair they need protecting and moths don't like Lavender. I had to smile when I saw what you'd been up to in the garden as it reminded me of when we took the shed down last year but it's worth it and your space looks lovely. Sending you a happy woyww hug, Angela x16x

First, I am so happy to see your work space. This is how I create as well. I start out with a few items and as the art evolves I start grabbing for things. Everything ends up on the table just like yours. LOL What a beautiful transformation of your yard. A perfect sitting area. Enjoy your day.

Oh Tracey, so sorry for you, your living area of England is shot down again,- dearest . Your workspace, don`t make me afraid, as mine are equal or worse ,LOL - and I can see you create such wonderful pieces there, - also the sweetest lovely pebbles , which are then finished in the sun ,sitting cozy outside , and surely smelling divine . What a transformation, from the play house till this peaceful place :-) Sending you warmest hugs and loving thoughts . xoxo

Goodness, that was a lot of work but you must be so thrilled with the outcome, it looks so cosy and comfortable. I love the bench and the beautiful garden pots - that's definitely my way of gardening. A perfect sanctuary!

The pebbles you created are gorgeous, I think I spy Tim Holtz fabric! Your desk does look very busy, I look forward to seeing more of what you have created. Keep safe and well my friend. Hugs, Anne xxx

What a wonderful transformation of a mess to a gorgeous little private hideaway, Tracey! A lovely spot to do a bit of al fresco crafting too, and your lavender pebbles are great. Thank you for your comment - so glad you like my tiny carpets! A while ago, I was asked by a couple of people to make needle books for them. One person is very interested in oriental rugs and they have quite a few, so I got inspired to do that on the cover for her. Originally I was going to make them both exactly the same but I thought it would be more interesting to do different designs. It's turned out to be a really fun project. My cleaning lady came yesterday afternoon and she loves the new Shark, and is happy to use it for the whole house, so Henry will be put away in case of emergencies! Glad you like my "new" skirt. I can't believe how well it turned out.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Oh wow, so much to smile about today! I loved seeing your craft space as I showed my hubby and told him not to moan about my mess again ...lol 😉. What a transformation in your garden, you created such a beautiful space to sit and relax and I'm sure Freya will love the grass when it's done too! You must have worked really hard to make that space look so beautiful - I love it ❤️. Of course you knew I would be ooh-ing and argh- ing over pretty Freya, she is such a cutie! We went walking with Ellie (oh and our friends ...lol) the other day, such fun as she loves chasing leaves and they are being to fall now. Happy birthday wishes to your mum,I bet that she'll love her flowers 😁. Have fun! Hugs, Jo x
