WoywW 580

Hello creative friends..

Desk sharing day over at the stamping ground where
Julia hosts what's on your Wednesday Workdesk...

Well apart from my fridge door falling off, locating a new
fridge online, in stock and able to be delivered to my door,
it's been quite a productive crafty week.

I spent the whole weekend in the craftroom
absorbed by the talent of over 20 artists during a two day
online retreat course before their year long workshop begins.

Here's a selection of what I created this weekend,
giving respect to the Artists involved i've obscured
some pieces taught via their tutorials.

When I do "make them my own" from those lessons
i'll be sure to share a bit more with you all..

#makecreateexpress20 #makecreateexpress #artismagiconline

This piece is inspired by the amazing work of
Jennifer Steck and her Patchwork Pets...
(another #WIP work in progress 😁)

had to try and capture Freya's *unique* eye!!

So here's my WOYWW #580 sadly idle since Monday...

Blame it on more mask making and alterations for facial hair!
Not mine may I add.. just incase you were wondering.. 😂

Look forward to seeing what's on your workdesks..

Take care & stay safe

Creative Hugs

Your workshop sounded a lot of fun, Tracey, and I simply love the portrait you've done of Freya, really capturing those adorable eyes! I agree with Jan, laughing about your facial hair lol!! Like her, my tweezers are in constant use. If I don't keep at it, I'm going to have to look for employment in the circus as the Bearded Lady.

Thank you for your visit last week and I apologise for not returning the compliment - a very busy week I'm afraid. We had a lovely couple of meals out. So glad you liked my vision in purple lol! Our first church service was peculiar to say the least, with pews cordoned off with white ribbon, everything at arm's length, no singing and no coffee afterwards! The atmosphere was somewhat subdued which was sad. Quite a few congregation members were still self-isolating so were absent - people I'd been looking forward to seeing again.

Sorry to hear about the disaster of your fridge! Thank goodness for online shopping though.

Happy WOYWW,

Hello dear Tracey, you are a great artist, just look at Freya , no one would doubt it is her, you have patchworked so beautifully, and the eyes are just wonderful, as in real life. What a luck, that you should not wait too long for a new fridge , -one of the facilities we don`t want to miss for days or even hours - I`m excited to see the creations from the workshop .
Big hugs to you my friend- Dorthe xoxo

You got her eyes perfectly, what a lovely painting of her. Was she a good model who sat still for you? She can be my muse any day when she looks like she does. Such beautiful eyes, reminds me of my little Oliver who melted my heart whenever I looked at him.
Lovely work from your two day 'shut in' - how fabulous to have the time to yourself like that because I know you are usually so busy. Looking forward to seeing in more detail, thanks for the peeks.
Shame about the fridge door, how on earth, or what were you doing, to make it fall off? Glad you got sorted anyhow.
Have another good week
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

Hi Tracey, I had your blog open all night - I got down the list to yours and got called away last night and didn't get back until this morning! A great selection of work on display there - I wonder what course you're taking? Freya is all grown up bless her heart but cute as ever! Hope you managed to get a new fridge by now - when ours broke down about 10 years ago in the middle of the summer heat, my hubs jumped in the car, a Volvo estate, and picked one up at Curry's and brought it home - we had a new fridge within two hours - a full sized one! That car has carried all sorts of things, including double beds and large trees from the garden centre that you couldn't put into a regular car. We still have it now 27 years old! Instead of 'old banger' we call it 'the classic'. We'll keep it going as long as it's still reliable, but we know it will be hard to replace when the time comes. Have a happy week, keep creating! xx zsuzsa #10

Laughed about facial hair, does it matter because when you wear your mask no one can see what's underneath!! There's always something that needs replacing and quite often they come in threes. Ani #6

Hi Tracey! :) Your Freya is gorgeous...she and your art piece! Her eyes remind me of my Jack's. Trust and innocence. :) What the heck? How does a fridge door fall off lol...I hope you can get one delivered soon! We went about 6 weeks without a fridge when we moved here and it wasn't fun!
