Taking the Leap...

Happy Leap day Everyone,

it's not every year we get to post on our blogs on 29th February.

After finding a bag full of Paris bits and bobs whilst
looking for something else it seemed like fate that

The word Paris oozes Romance to me, from novels to old movies,
I wonder how many people have popped the question in the City
or maybe the Eiffel Tower..?

As the 29th February is a Leap Day women may still take up
the old tradition of asking their partner to marry them..?

Back in 1992 I know I did 😁

After two years of me saying no to his proposals I made
the most of leap day that year, popping the question to him.

I've never been to Paris but we did spend our Honeymoon
in Blackpool in 1993.... he obviously said YES!! 😙

Really enjoyed layering all these found elements today,
the ironing will just have to wait until next month..

Enjoy the rest of your evening what ever your up too
I'll see you all in March...

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

Tracey, ironing can always wait. What a fabulous tag, so glad you made it and shared it at Tag Tuesday, love all of the wonderful layers. I used to love visiting Blackpool when I was living in Liverpool and St Helens. Have a great new month, hugs, Valerie

This is not only the most romantic tag, it is also the most romantic story I've read. How sweet and wonderful. Maybe you two will get to Paris yet, and it will be like a second honeymoon.

This is stunning Tracey, so romantic and dreamy - I would say just like Paris itself, but the last time I went it was cold and wet so you're better off sticking with Blackpool lol. Seriously, Paris is a lovely place and I hope you do get to visit, and your beautiful tag more than does it justice. Thanks so much for your visit to my blog, and have a very happy week, Sue xx

What a wonderfully romantic story Tracey, being an old romantic myself it gave me goosebumps - well done you. I know he said yes but I want to know now whether he was surprised by your proposal? What a lovely thing to do!

Your Paris tag is simply gorgeous, soft, feminine and an absolute delight. I like Blackpool but I do love Paris even with just one visit. One of the amazing things about being addicted to the Tour de France is that they finish up in Paris. A beautiful country and a beautiful capital.

Hope you have had a good weekend. Hugs, Anne xxx

This is just the loveliest tag and the sweetest story. Everything about it is so evocative of that romantic city and the colours are so pretty.

Such a beautiful Paris tag! I love how you layered everything together, it andlooks so romantic! I loved hearing your leap day story too and I like to think the Eiffel Tower is the same as the Blackpool Tower as I get to see it most days when we're out and about ...lol 😉. Hope Freya is still enjoying chasing those leaves 😀. Wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x

Dear Tracey , late again, but we were away to celebrate Mathildes birthday :-)
This soooo romantic creation, is gorgeous, and taking me back to Paris, which I visited twice. What a surprice it must have been for your , since then, husband, lol- yes here it is the same story, but I don`t know how many uses it, - and doubt that a no is still forbidden from the man asked :-) Dear friend,- I send you biggest hugs and smiles. xoxo
