WoywW 550

Hello everyone,

Well it's been crazy here over the past couple of weeks.
In between preparing for the festivities, guests and visits
our dearest Daughter is also home from Sweden for Christmas.

To add to the madness we've welcomed a new member to our family..
A gift to us all after losing our beloved dog Boni last March
and an extra early Birthday present to Hubby who celebrates
his special day this Friday. Meet Freya everyone 😍

So using today as a round up of the past couple of weeks
here's what's been happening on and off my work desk

Christmas card making and writing...

I've had my money's worth out of these stamps this year.
Batch made lots a couple of weeks ago with left overs
for next year, just need to remember where I put them
*SAFE* and who i've sent them too this year!

Fabulous cards received from Anne, Angela and Dorthe a beautifully
intricate Angel and hearts, the red woven one now hangs on my Tree.

We always save opening our cards until the Christmas Tree is up
it's extra special to me to receive ones that are handmade..
Thank You Ladies so much.

There's not been enough hours in the day to get online,
read blogs or put any blogs of my own together but I
have managed to keep up with Kasia's Advent Challenge.
Day's 1-7 are HERE just need to photograph 8-17 and have
10 minutes to myself for day 18.. Can you believe it's
only one week till Christmas.. eek 🌲

Look forward to seeing what's on your work desks and
a catching up over at Julia's for WoywW #550

Sending calming HUGS your way
Tracey xx

All those cards made and received look absolutely fabulous - but I only have eyes for Freya! How cute is she? My heart is melting - such a wonderful present for your whole family and you deserve happiness after the year you've had. She's a lucky little pup and will be surrounded with so much love! Well done for keeping up with the prompts - I've fallen behind but will be back on track soon! Must check out your pages! Wishing you and your family a wonderful first Christmas with Freya! xx zsuzsa #19

Awww, little Freya is totally adorable - I guess she's a spaniel? I have grown up with Springers and have an enormous soft spot for Spaniels - I bet she's a big distraction from all the Christmas prep that needs doing! Love the cards you made, and all the beauties you received too.
Hope you have a lovely Christmas with your daughter home,

Oh Tracey, Freya is just adorable, she has the most beautiful face. I can just imagine how much fun Christmas will be with her there.

Love your cards too, the ones you made are beautiful. The tree stamp is a Stampotique wooden one by Karen Hayselden (hope that helps). We are having a busy time here too, but now I am wishing we had a Freya too! Hugs, Anne xx

Oh Tracey, Freya is adorable!! What a little poppet. You must be so thrilled after the loss of Boni. Your cards are very stylish, and what a nice collection of hand-made ones you've received, too. I am always putting things away in a "safe" place which is so safe that it is safe even from Shoshi and I waste hours looking for them!!

Thank you for your lovely comment - actually the tidiness of my studio at the moment is NOT the usual state of affairs - far from it! Believe me, the tidiness won't last, once I get back in there doing stuff again. I am so glad you like the Tudor gown! If you pop back, I have just updated the photos with better ones that a friend took this afternoon, complete with the jewellery I wore. I am very pleased with the result and it was much admired at the Tudor banquet! Thank you for all your good wishes, and I wish you a very happy time over Christmas too.

Happy WOYWW,

What a lovely family time you must be having, your daughter home and now that adorable little spaniel Freya. The Freya I know is very artistic and a member of Cath's group so now I know two Freya's. Yours has an adorable little face, may she bring you hours of happiness.
Happy Birthday to the hubster before I forget.
What a lovely set of cards both made and received from friends who make them, love that angel! I put a list in a database this year with a code at the side so I know which card I sent to whom. Hope I remember the code lol.
Thanks for the lovely wishes, it has been a pleasure visiting you over the year and I am so glad the hubby is now so much better than he was so all that remains is me to wish you all a Lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Hugs, Neet 11 xxxx

Wow, those Christmas cards are amazing and so nice to have some leftover for next year, I've already started my cards for next year, a bit early I know ...lol 😉. Wishing you a wonderful week and have a fabulous time with your family, so nice that your daughter is visiting! Take care and give Freya a cuddle from me ❤. Hugs, Jo x

Belated thanks for stopping by! Have just been pondering the good old "safe place" dilemma. I've reached the point where I think perhaps setting a reminder in my phone (to tell me where the safe place is) might be the solution...if only I knew how to set a reminder in my phone!
I'm jumping on the Freya fan club band wagon. She is absolutely adorable. Have a lovely first Christmas with her!
