Challenge #116 ~ Paperbabe Stamps Birthdays Theme

Hello everyone,

with this fortnights theme *Birthdays*...

Everyday is a Birthday and I can think of no better time than
NOW to share the love and appreciation of a friend or loved one
by creating a little something to celebrate their special day.

Here's what I created and how it came to be..

I came across this distress oxide background amongst my scraps pile.
I love how those cracks appear so strong through the crackle paste
when pushed through one of my favourite Paperbabe Iso Fun Stencil.

The colours were a perfect match for my latest Paperbabe design
using the Dinky 3/4 View stamp teamed with the Micro Fringe template.

stamping flowers from the Flourishing Hair Set help adorn her outfit
with a little bit of bling to balance that scrummy gold crackle paste..

As if she awaits her destiny this A5 mixed media journal page may well
turn into a card topper as the Birthday Wishes sentiment quietly awaits.

Come see what the rest of the DT have created to inspire you
and *Please* share your stamped Birthday creations with the team
over HERE you DO NOT have to use Paperbabe Stamps to join in...

Stay safe & keep creative everyone
Sending light & good wishes your way

Tracey xx

Hi Tracey! Wow, you have created a really adorable journal page here. Love the colours, they go together so well, and the gold gives it a very extravagant touch. Love how you put your gorgeous girl outside the frame, great idea. Thanks so much for linking to AJJ, much appreciated. Happy PPF and have a safe and happy weekend, hugs, Valerie

Isn't it great when you come across pre made backgrounds and they always seem just perfect for what you've got in mind. Love the layout of the page using that beautiful girl outside the frame.
Have a great weekend and stay safe.

She certainly is a beautiful and enhanced even more by the gorgeous golden crackle in the background and the wonderful blue/green colours. I too, love her elf like ears. She would make a beautiful birthday card but she looks equally beautiful as a journal page - I don't think I would be able to part with her!

I really do hope you are getting some crafty time this weekend. Stay safe and well my friend. Hugs, Anne xx

I always love hearing the word "scrap." It's a fun way to use something that would normally be overlooked. This is a beautiful journal page. I love how you turned the birthday greeting into a journal page. This was very well executed, too. Thanks for sharing it with us using Valerie's theme at Art Journal Journey.

Hi Tracey, pleased to see you've found a use for something in the scrap pile and it works so well. Hope you're all well and managing to occupy yourselves though I know you wont have a problem with that. Take care and creative hugs, Angela xXx

Dearest Tracey , another gorgeous creation, and painting done, to perfection. I love the crackle, too- and your sweet elfin - so very cute and a little dangerous, maybe, lol.
Tracey, I so hope you are doing ok, and your family too, - this is not going to stop the many coming weeks, I guess, so we better stay firm, and protect ourself, as much as we can. I do that, only out each day for a walk, and then going to opposite side of street if someone is coming close to me,- How do you cope , dear friend? Do you live in an area with many people around you ? I hope your husband also can keep inside and not get any risk of being infected . Have a cosy evening dear friend. I send you loving thoughts and hugs. Dorthe xoxoxo
