Happy New Year ~ WoywW #552

*Happy New Year Everyone*

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas?

The past week has been incredible with house guests,
a full house on Christmas day. A party at my MIL's as she
turned 80 years young, vet checks and injections for the pup
(roll on those walkies days..) and finally an emotional weekend
as our dear Daughter set off to start a new chapter in her life
as she moves to Sweden. It's been in the planning for some months.

Never thought this day would come, they grow up too fast ..

So moving on quickly before I get a little teary lets share
what's on my work desk this Wednesday as we begin the new year

with WOYWW #552 over at our host Julia's stamping ground.

As I enjoyed Kasia's Advent Calendar challenge so much with her
prompts for 10~15 minute activities I've started a new junk
journal dedicated to quick crafting plus a handmade stitch
journal in need of much more love this year..

I love the quiet of New Years Day, although i've only had a few hours
sleep as guests over to see the New Year in had us playing Mario Party
until gone 3 am this morning 😏 Please excuse me if I drift off..

Look forward to seeing WoywW
here's to a magical and creative year.

Hugs Tracey xx

Lots of changes round your way then, and I'm sure 2020 will bring even more of them - but hopefully peace and happiness will accompany them all eventually! Love the sound of your new journal plans. I'm still in Christmas hibernation (don't come out fully until after 12th Night on 6th January!), but am trying to do a bit of catching up with people even so. Happy New Year!

Dearest Tracey ,
Oh like me,- also in bed only 3.PM and tired, but had a lovely and fresh walk with Henning after lunch. I feel so much with you, now your daughter seriously is moving to Sweeden , because as you know, I have mine far away too, even it is in the same country , as me. I know you will get used, but I never get used to her (them) traveling away home, after having spend days with us-- it is always the saddest day and I need always time to be myself.
Tracey I so love these pages in your journal, so poetic and beautiful.
Happy New Year to you my friend, may it be happy, healthy and filled with joy, and time for playing . Big hugs from Dorthe xx

It sounds as if your Christmas period was a bitter-sweet experience, Tracey, with your daughter about to move away. I love your beautiful journal! Thank you for your visit. I'm not 100% vegan, still having milk for my fermented products, but nearly all whole-food plant-based. The Christmas dinner really was delicious! I'm not missing the meat at all... I am sure I shall get on fine with the cutting machine from now on - I feel a lot more confident with the new software, and am busy designing some new cutting files which I shall try out when I get time. Meantime, got to finish that first lot of cards in the card factory!

Happy belated WOYWW and happy New Year!

Wow! Sounds like you need a rest after your busy Christmas and New year Tracey. Wishing your daughter luck in her new adventures in Sweden, what a lovely place to go and visit her.
So pleased to hear you're continuing with the art journaling too, a little bit of art every day is a very good thing.
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year,

Ah Sweden, well it’s just another country for you to visit and explore isn’t it? There’s always an upside and diwnsde, good to focus on the upward look.
Happy very belated WOYWW. Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too, especially good health in 2020.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x #2 kinda! 😊
