What's on your Work desk? Wednesday #546

Hello Creative Friends,

Time to share what's on our Wednesday work desks again.

Can you believe it's only 5 weeks till Christmas..?
With that in mind I spent a couple of hours on Sunday
trying to work out ways of using another one of those
stamps sat awaiting its turn on my borrowed desk.

These handful of cards are not quite finished yet, I
just couldn't decide if I liked black or grey houses!
What do you think..??

Hope this weekend I can finish them and
move on to the next stamp set in the pile.

Another busy week my end so i'll
catch up with you all asap..

Take care everyone

Creative Hugs
Tracey xx

The cards are gorgeous, I love them in both colours. Perhaps you make half grey and the other half black? Big help, huh?? Have a wonderful day, it's so foggy outside the world has disappeared. Hugs, Valerie

Morning Tracey. Had to chuckle at everyone's comments - both colours, hey? For me personally it would be the grey. I like the image, though. For the first time ever I have made a couple of Christmas cards stamped in black - still can't decide if I like what I have made...
Take care. God bless.

Well to throw the cat among the pigeons I prefer the black. As what you decide they will be lovely and well received.
I have got myself in a muddle with using more than one set of stamps - who did I send the robin ones to? Maybe they will get the same card this year as last! Next time I will do one kind of card and one only - that way I will know what I am doing.

Oh those cards are lovely - in fact anything with little houses on is a winner in my book! Love the non trad colours too, clever gal!

Hi Tracey. I think the grey just edges it for me too. It makes the houses look frosty! Gorgeous design either way.

I like both too! The black ones pop more and the grey ones are more subdued, matching the watercolours - they both work in their own way. I love those little houses! Enjoy your week, Tracey! xx zsuzsa #17

That's a scary thought. I haven't even thought about Christmas yet. You seem to be totally on the ball. I love those darling houses, but the black works better for me. Just dropped by to say HI.

I love those adorable little houses - just lovely. I lean towards the grey, only because I so rarely use black myself. They both work beautifully.

Hello dear friend, and thankyou for your pm - so lovely to hear from you - I will get back to you Tracey , hopefully soon.
Such sweet houses, they are cute , and I prefer the grey I think. I have to admit that I have something with black , which makes my mood black, too - silly I know , but .........
I`m trying to finish gifts, (one for you too) because they have to be send first in December, and it is not far away , I can`t believe it Tracey, it was almost only summer !!
Sending you biggest warm hugs and lots of good wishes for you , sweet lady xoxoxoxoxo

I like them both as well. The little bit of blue lifts them a tad too. Hope you can find time to finish and move onto the next stamp set. I have a feeling that some of my unopened xmas stuff is going to remain unopened (except perhaps in prep for next year!!) Happy WOYWW Cindy #18 xx

Beautiful cards Tracey, for me it is black and white all the way, it is so striking (nothing wrong with the gray though) and the blue is a lovely addition. Hard to believe it is only 5 weeks, I really need to make some Christmas cards - yikes! Enjoy the rest of your week! Hugs, Anne xxx

Fabulous cards! I can see why you can't decide, I like both designs too so maybe just do half black and white, and half grey ...lol 😉. Wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x

Hi Tracey, tough decision! The black is more dramatic, but I do like the softness of the grey. You have made me worry, really only 5 weeks to go! I was sorting out presents today, we seem to have gone overboard on one grandchild and not enough for the others! Goodness knows how that happened!

I think the grey ones because that is the way I remember the UK in winter - grey and cold. Haha Hope you have a good week. Ani #6

Sorry I’m late! Don’t ask me to decide, they both make me swoon. I’ve suddenly woken up and noticed that black seems to be in use on loads of christmas cards and I always steer away from it..is it a trend or have I just had my head in a bucket and been toeing the tradition line for so long! Gorgeous stuff Tracey..whatever colour!

Very stylish and unusual cards in monochrome, Tracey. Both are gorgeous but if I had to decide, I'd go for the grey - more subtle? They are great, whatever you eventually decide! Thank you for your visit and your good wishes - I got my brown envelope today and it was a positive outcome!!!!! I am soooo relieved... I am going to be receiving exactly the same amount as I have been on the previous benefit. Thank you so much for all your support and concern over the past months! So glad you enjoyed reading about my Tudor project. I'm working on the bodice at the moment and it's proving a bit of a fiddle to get it right, but I'll get there in the end. I think that will be the most complicated part. The kitties are certainly enjoying lots of cuddles, with us and with each other, in this cold weather!

Happy belated WOYWW,
