Party Time..!!!

Hello Creative Friends

It's Party Time with Kristin & EVA over at PPF
as Paint Party Friday turns 8 Today...

**Happy Birthday**

Creative Fridays...

Whilst having a free afternoon last week I thought i'd have a
play with some acrylics. Can't remember the last time I used
acrylics solely on their own or attempted a self portrait,
must be at least *AHEM... 30 years ago!

DH said he could tell this was me because of the glasses 😂

I laughed so much creating this the more layers I put down
the younger I seemed to get, if only I could bottle that stuff..

Personally I think this needs a bit of tweaking but it's Party Time
and those paint splodges and hat are a great distraction hee hee!!

Wishing you all a super creative weekend.

We've Birthday Celebrations and Family time this weekend,
what ever you are all up too have a Happy & Safe one.

Creative Hugs Tracey xx

**As A Vintage Journey are celebrating their Birthday
i'm partying with them too.. Happy 5th AVJ**

A fabulous self portrait which brings party celebrations to life Tracey, we’re celebrating our 5th birthday over at A Vintage Journey and this is perfect for the line up celebrating a part of your own creative journey. When you’ve bottled that anti aging secret please let me know lol. Have a great weekend - I’m teaching a workshop Saturday and greatly looking forward to that. xxx

Even if I had seen just the first photo I would have said it was you! The finished portrait is stunning Tracey, you need to get those acrylics out more often, you have such an amazing talent! I am so glad Brenda mentioned AVJ as this is perfect for our 5th birthday celebrations, thank you so much for joining in with this beauty. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

PS. I also think the Ladybird poem is sad now too, but as I child I think I just like reciting things, even if I didn't understand what I was saying.... but I do still love Ladybirds - lol!

Hugs, Anne xx

I think your self portrait is super. I tried one one, once, but it turned out a mess. Yours is super cool, though.

Oh fabulous Tracey, this looks super and so clever!!! I always think self portraits are about the hardest, but you did a super job here, and even though you had a break for 30 years, your skill is still very much there! You should get those paints out more often! Oh and so happy you decided to add this little master piece to our birthday challenge at AVJ too!
Happy Sunday and have a wonderful week ahead!

Tracey, my dear, you have outdone even YOU! This is an amazing self portrait, and it was easy to spot this was you right from the tiny thumbnail at A Vintage Journey! It takes extreme talent to do a self portrait, so I was told by my high school art teacher. I KNOW you have amazing talent and this just provides even more evidence of that. Great details on this, and just perfect for our 5th year Celebration at A Vintage Journey, too! So happy you could play along. Please, no apologies for lateness at my blog. I have totally given up on my reading list, and just try to work my way around to see all my favorites in between DT responsibilities. Since time on the computer is so limited, my visiting is rather sporadic. ALWAYS a delight to visit with you, my friend! Hugs!

What an amazing self-portrait, Tracey, and what skill you have as an artist! Personally, I think you should wear a party hat all the time! But then you'd have to make yourself some pretty beaded neckwear to hang your glasses from! Hugs, Darnell
