Spring has officially Sprung! ~ MM reminder *Spring into Action*

It's mid month inspiration and reminder time to let you know there's still time to
join in with the That's Crafty *Spring into Action* Challenge over HERE.

This mini make was inspired by a Large upright I decorated
a year ago for a Guest Design Project for Rubber Dance Stamps.

Spring has officially sprung!

Onto a Dinky MDF upright Tag I dabbed on some Texture paste
to create clouds and painted a little scene around it.

The Tulip Stamp has a face which I masked off before stamping.
This gave me a blank flower head to add lots of paint layers.

Stamping the tulip six times I painted with multi surface paints and cut out
the leaves and Tulip head layering them on top of a full painted image.

Concertinaed  card acts as a raised base for the Tulips.

When painted the tulips are glued in place held by clips until dry.

Glitter Glue gives a little Spring Time Sparkle
completing my Spring Time Upright.

The dull months have really knocked my colour mojo and I needed a little
trip down memory lane to see what I was up to on my blog in March last year.

Please pop on over and see the inspiration the Design Team bring you
and we'd love you to share your *Spring into Action* creations with us all.

There's lots of prizes up for grabs over on the That's Crafty Challenge Blog

Wishing you warmth and springtime sunshine
Creative Hugs Tracey xx

Oh Tracey! I loved how you did the background on the tag until I saw those tulips added and they've just blown me away!!!!! I absolutely love them. The leaves have a kind of whimsical feel to them as though they are about to come to life, a bit freaky too I love them and adore how you've used them. Have a lovely creative week, Angela xXx

I love this upright dearest Tracey- love the clouds you created, and the tulips growing in front of the wall,- great idea with the concertina to hold them- and also love the gorgeous way you painted them, giving shades, making them live. All gives hope for soon to come warm days with blue sky and only a single cotton sky up there . Gorgeous dear friend.
I hope your day has been fine- and wishes you , lovely lady, a cozy evening. Warm hugs, Dorthe, xx

Wow Tracey! This is such a beautiful Springtime scene and makes me wish the tulips in my garden were out instead of being knocked back by the recent snow!
The way you created the tulips is so clever and love those fluffy white clouds too.

Thank you Fliss. It's sad to think that the cold winter will have an effect on some of the Spring Time delights we look forward to seeing. Hopefully it will not spoil all the colour Spring brings xx

Sorry I have just found this Anne, Thank you so so much. We too have had some great cloud formation this weekend, I used to watch them for hours as a child when I lived in a high rise block of flats it felt like I could almost touch them. Glad my little take on spring cheered you up!!
