Lindsay Mason Zendoodle RTG Teddy (Sweet Dixie Stamps)

I was working on this little fella when I received the news that I had been selected to join the Lindsay Mason Design Team. Absolutely delighted I thought I best jump to it and finish the wee fella off. This stamp set is The Lindsay Mason Zendoodle RTG Teddy (Sweet Dixie Stamps)

As you may be able to tell the image is quite sizeable giving a great area to work with. (Apologies for the picture quality & shadows both the light & my sight have not been kind today.)
I'd decided this little Ted was out to impress but somehow he still hadn't quite made it, even with his quirky tangle of patterns for me it was his little Bow Tie that would make his own personal statement.

Keeping Teds body colours muted using promarker cool & ice greys & adding random spots of gunmetal stickles from ranger I gave him a bright pink Bow Tie adding highlights of pink wink of stella to give him that added sparkle. I decided to give him a double bow as I thought he deserved it..!

A little shading around his edges and he's finished.. I'm already thinking of Christmas with this stamp is that so wrong in March..?? Hope you like him..?

Happy crafting lovely people.. Hugs from Tracey xx

A Card for all occasions.

As a card maker It can sometimes be difficult to find an image that will suite more than one occasion. If you do find one it can be most beneficial as it allows you to make up multiple cards adding the sentiment when and where needed. This image in particular I find very useful Hobby Art Bird House Stamp Set . It comprises of 6 stamps, 1 large image and 5 small additional stamps.

The large stamped image can be coloured using whichever medium you chose. I have used a mixture of alcohol markers and wink of stella.

Using the small butterfly I stamped the image randomly multiple times using two colours adding a little distress ink to the edges to create a background.

Adding a little glossy accents to the heart and a spot or two of  Stickles glitter glue to the centre of the flowers the topper was complete and the card ready to assemble.

A card complete, ready and waiting for a sentiment... whether it be for a loved one on their Birthday, Valentines or Anniversary Card. Its a perfect addition to any stampers collection.

Hobby Art Traditional Father Christmas Card.

Thought I would share a recent card which I made which spells the Magic of Christmas out to me. Purchased from Hobby Art Ltd as a monthly special the stamp comes with two stamps. One traditional Lantern Father Christmas and the other "Cuddly Father Christmas" grey rubber stamps which are EZ mounted and ready to roll. The set even came with a project sheet most useful.

Using Father Christmas as the focal point coloured with promarkers & spectrum noir pencils I needed something to make him pop out of the page. By creating a large full moon directly behind him this seems to have done the job.
The darkend sky has been created using distress inks and the water splash effect adding glitter glue to replicate the starry sky.
Trees were added along the horizon adding shadow to bring it all together.
A beautiful set of stamps from Hobby Art Ltd, designed by Sharon Bennett and a delight to stamp..!!
