Paint Party Friday *After Party*

Hello creative friends

Today I share my last Painting for *Paint Party Friday*
using acrylics recently sent to me from my dear friend Anne,
the colours inspired me to finish this piece pencilled long ago.

I give you Vincent Van Gogh's *Sunflowers* in my own vision.

I do not think there is anyone on this earth that doesn't recognise
the Power, Strength and Love the sunflower symbolises right now..

Thanks to Kristin and EVA for all those fabulous
Paint Party Fridays.. We will miss you very very much..

Stay safe and ever creative
Tracey xx

  1. Love your Vincent painting. Sunflowers are wonderful and here in the Park, where we are staying at the moment, there are giant ones scattered about in summer. I remember my first glimpse of a field of sunflowers in France many years ago - I still have the photo hanging in the spare bathroom.
Yes, over this past month the sunflower has come to mean more to each and everyone of us.

  2. Sunflowers your way are just gorgeous Tracey. Who needs Van Gogh when you show us these? They are just gorgeous, and you are a wonderful painter too. This is gorgeous, and the meaning is absolutely so important right now. Thanks so much for sharing this with us right now at AJJ Tracey. It is perfect for Valerie's spring challenge, and I can't wait for sunflowers to bloom here again. So thanks for sharing some with me as there's nothing blooming in my garden yet. Happy weekend. hugs-Erika

  13. What a fabulous tribute to PPF and a great way to say goodbye to their blog. It is also a wonderful way to honor Valerie's theme at Art Journal Journey, But most of all, it is a truly fabulous symbol of honoring the war that is now raging in Ukraine. Such a beautiful entry Tracey.

  15. Oh Tracey, you have done Mr Van Gogh proud with this stunning painting! There is nothing more beautiful (in my humble opinion) than a gorgeous vase of sunflowers and yes, so symbolic at the moment, albeit sadly so....

Apologies for my lateness, I hope you have a good week my friend. Hugs, Anne xxx
