Fantastic work Tracey, love your flowers. must have been a lot of work cutting them out. But the end result is definitely worth the effort. Have a great day, stay safe, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteJust love how you took the inspiration photo and let the painty colours flow! A gorgeous page spread, with those airy words taking pride of place on the opposite side. I've got some similar "handwritten" words and haven't inked mine up for an age... must dig them out.

I really do not envy you fussy cutting all those little flowers but the finished effect is stunning! Such a great mix of colours in the inspiration picture and you have picked them up beautifully. The flat backed gems are just the perfect finishing touch too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely weekend and keep safe. Hugs, Anne xxx
Tracey I love this spread. I love the blobs of color and those beautiful flowers. That is really clever and such a joyful page. And it must have taken a lot of work to cut those little flowers, but I am glad you did. The results are amazing. Thanks for joining us at Art Journal Journey and Mia's challenge. And happy weekend. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteTracey, this is an amazing spread! I love how you interpreted the picture inspiration. Beautiful bright colors on your page and lovely flowers. So glad to see that you join my challenge at AJJ with this gorgeous creation. Thank you, my dear friend. Kisses!
ReplyDeleteDearest Tracey, what a wonderful spread, and a beautiful idea, . So busy fussy cutting I`m sure, with all those lovely and adorable little flowers , placed in their respective flower beds . The words are so fitting , and all of them, describing the natures magic of flowers.
ReplyDeleteBiggest hugs to you, and a safe and lovely weekend, to you and your family . xoxoxoxo
I thought Jo was the fussy cutting queen, but now I think you might have just won the honor. This was an amazing post and a beautiful spread. Thanks, too, for sharing this with us using Mia's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteIts a fabulous journal spread Tracey, it must have taken you ages to do all the fussy cutting. Thank you for linking to Mia's theme at Art journal Journey.

A fabulous page Tracy, great to see how you transformed those blobs of colour with all the fussy cut flowers (you definitely have patience - but so worth the effort). Love the words on the opposite page.

Tracey this is so beautiful, the colours really pop from the page. The flowers are stunning, but all that fussy cutting - rather you than me lol. Take care and have a great week, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteA wonderful journal site! Fantastic with the flower stamp and your mix of colors.
ReplyDeleteIlove the pages with words!
Greetings Elke
